Registration for the MAA Anniversary is a 2-step process.

Cancellations can be made through August 31, 2025.
(If you choose to cancel your registration after making payment,
MAA will refund the cost of your registration minus a $30 administrative fee.)

Important Scholarship Information:
After completing a Registration Form, attendees will be able to request either a partial or total scholarship . Scholarships will be approved on a first-come, first-served basis. Scholarships will be limited to the cost of registration and will not cover travel, hotel, outside food, etc.
Money for the scholarship fund will come from individual donations. Scholarships can only be offered if there are sufficient funds in the account.
If a scholarship recipient is unable to come to the Anniversary, they must notify the Scholarship Committee as soon as possible so that the scholarship money can be offered to the next person in line. They will not be able to transfer their scholarship to another individual.

Important Hotel Information:
You must be at least 21 years old to reserve a Hotel room. All reservations must be guaranteed with a major debit or credit card or accompanied by a first-night deposit. You will have the choice of a room with 1 king bed or 2 queen beds.
You can also select up to 3 additional nights prior to and after the Anniversary for the same discounted rate of $179/night plus tax.
The Hotel offers valet parking only.
2 hours or less = $15, 2-4 hrs = $18,
Max all day = $25, Overnight = $55. (plus tax)

How do I make a reservation online?

Can I call the Hotel to make my reservation?
Yes, you can call the Hotel at 202-220-8400 or 1-877-424-6423. Identify yourself as an MAA member attending the MAA Anniversary by using our group name “MAA Anniversary” and group number ZX04Z6.
When is check-in time and check-out time?
Check-in time is 3:00 pm ET, and check-out time is 12:00 pm ET.
What if I arrive late?
All reservations are automatically guaranteed for late arrival.
What will it cost if I book a room before and/or after the event?
The group discounted rate of $179 per night plus tax is available 3 nights before and 3 nights after our event (October 28, 29, 30, and November 2, 3, 4). Please note that if you will only be there for October 31 to November 2 (the dates of the MAA Anniversary), you need to change the dates when filling out your online Hotel reservation form.
How many people per room?
The Hotel website indicates a max of 2 people in a king-size room and 4 people in a double queen room.
Can I bring my pet?
The Hotel is pet-friendly; check the website for details. Only service animals are allowed in the meeting room.
What are the policies of the Hotel?
If there are any damages made to Hotel property by an MAA member, the individual—not the Hotel or MAA—will be liable for all expenses. Should any MAA member suffer the loss of any property while at the Hotel, it will be that individual’s insurance policy that covers the loss, not the Hotel or MAA.
Food
What can I expect for meals?
Saturday and Sunday breakfasts are included in the registration fee. All lunches and dinners will be the individual's responsibility, subject to change. Unfortunately, no specific dietary requests can be made to the Hotel. More details will be provided to registrants on the specifics of breakfast. The Hotel policy states that any remaining food or beverages CANNOT be removed from the meeting room.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes! There is a microwave and mini fridge in each Hotel room. Personal food is not allowed in the meeting room.
Registration and Transportation
Can I invite newcomers?
Please do! They will have to register and make their own reservation arrangements.
Will the Anniversary be on Zoom if I can’t make it in person?
Yes! The Anniversary will be available via Zoom for a reduced registration fee. Details will be provided soon.
How best to get there?
