Daylight Saving Time Information
How Daylight Saving Affects Your Media Recovery Meetings
On Sunday, March 8, 2026, clocks in the United States move forward one hour when Daylight Saving Time begins. In most of Europe, Daylight Saving begins later, on Sunday, March 29, 2026.
Because most MAA meetings (and closed Back-to-Basics Step Study groups) follow US Eastern Time, meeting times will be one hour earlier for those located outside of the US for the three-week period between March 8 and March 29, 2026.
These time changes will be automatically reflected in the MAA Meeting Calendar and the Closed B2B Group Meeting Calendar on the MAA website.
For MAA meetings based on Central European Time (CET), local meeting times will remain the same for participants located in Europe, and will begin one hour later for those in the US during the three weeks between March 8 and March 29, 2026.
Closed Back-to-Basics Step Studies: Participants located in Europe (and other eastern regions) will need to arrive for their daily meetings one hour earlier between March 8 and March 29, 2026. For those US participants in the 7am AET (Australian Eastern Time) B2B Step Study, please be aware that your group will meet one hour later (at 4:00pm ET) beginning March 8, 2026, and then at 5:00pm ET on April 5, 2026, and will remain at that time until US Daylight Saving Time ends in the Fall of 2026.
